Catriona Ward
Catriona Ward was born in Washington, DC and grew up in the United States, Kenya, Madagascar, Yemen, and Morocco. She read English at St Edmund Hall, Oxford and is a graduate of the Creative Writing MA at the University of East Anglia. Her debut Rawblood (W&N, 2015) won Best Horror Novel at the 2016 British Fantasy Awards, was shortlisted for the Author’s Club Best First Novel Award and a WHSmith Fresh Talent title. Her second novel, Little Eve (W&N, 2018) was nominated for the Shirley Jackson Award and a Guardian best book of 2018. Her short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies. She lives in London and Devon.
Vicky Brewster
Vicky Brewster is a freelance editor and academic. Although Vicky has only been taking editing commissions for a year, she has been able to move to editing full time. Vicky recently completed a Masters degree in English, focusing on the novels of Michel Faber, and is about to begin a PhD at Swansea University, researching hauntings in 21st century fiction. Prior to working as an editor, Vicky was a part-qualified Management Accountant, and brings a lot of her experience in finance and marketing to her workshops. Vicky’s clients come from a variety of genres and comprise both independent and traditionally published authors. She also participates in panels and runs workshops at various cons, including Bristolcon, Chymera and the Abergavenny Writing Festival.
Alex Davis
Alex Davis is an author and creative writing tutor with over ten years of experience, taking in over 100 one-off workshops as well as more substantial courses of 4-12 weeks. More recently he has worked as an Associate Lecturer in Creative and Professional Writing at the University of Derby. He has had one novel and one non-fiction book published to date, and is also known as the creator and organiser of the popular Edge-Lit event in Derby, which enters its eighth year in 2019.
Céline Terranova
Céline Terranova is a writer and podcaster. She was born in a small town in the south of Belgium. From a very young age, she was interested in stories and books. Céline honed her skills by writing several fanfictions in French, then moved to London in 2012 where she started writing in English. She had two short stories published in magazines and is currently working on her first novel. In 2018, she wrote her first non-fiction book “The Part-Time Artist” that is aimed at all creative people. Her goal is to provide artists from all fields with advice and support, so that they can achieve their projects and live a happy life.
